Happy New Year!!!

Although the calendar says it’s winter, it seems more like fall with these nice temperatures. So come on out and enjoy a round or two of golf while you still can.

A holiday note: Please be aware that all facilities will close at 3:00pm on Saturday, December 31st for New Year’s Eve. Also note that we will be CLOSED on New Year’s Day, Sunday the 1st of January.

Once again we would like to remind you that during the winter months we will not be serving the “breakfast buffet” on the North Porch on Saturdays and Sundays. But you can always have breakfast in the Grille on the lower level of the Clubhouse anytime Saturday or Sunday beginning at 7:00am. Please note that our usual Sunday Brunch will not be affected by this change.

The Children’s Christmas Brunch was Sunday, December 11th. Santa and Mrs. Claus were here to wish every one a Merry Christmas and gave goody bags to all the little ones and even some of the bigger ones. Thank you to all of our members and their guests who attended.

Don’t forget the Annual Stockholders’ Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening, January 31st. You should have already received your proxies in the mail. Please make sure to return your proxies prior to the meeting to ensure a quorum. Registration for the meeting will begin at 5:30pm with the meeting commencing at 6:00pm. A dinner buffet will be available following the meeting.

There is still much to do to prepare our course for winter, so please bear with our course superintendent, Jerry Broughton and his staff, while they continue their efforts to provide the best possible playing conditions for you for the upcoming golf season. We appreciate and thank you for your help and support.

Now that the holidays are over, we have a whole new year ahead of us. Let us help you with your next business meeting, birthday party, wedding reception or special event. Call Sherri Mann, Event Coordinator, for more information and/or to book a date.
