Although this is a 550-yard par-5, long hitters can reach this green in two with a predominant south wind assisting in the effort. Mid-length hitters typically can hit two good shots and end with a short iron to the green. The fairway is reasonably open off the tee, but the green is well-guarded with bunkers. This green slopes gently away from the approach angle. Since there's lot's of trouble over the green, experienced players ensure that they don't use too much club here and often try to land mid- and long-iron approach shots short of the green and roll the ball towards the hole. |
