This hole features one of the tightest driving holes on the course. The fairway is reasonably wide, but it slopes to the right (west). This effectively narrows the fairway considerably. An ideal drive is one that works right to left to counter the slope of the fairway. Since the hole isn't particularly long (356 yards from the blue tees), many players hit any club they can hit straight to keep the ball in play off the tee. Your second shot is a uphill to a well-guarded green. |
