Hole 8
Par 4
|
 |
This
number one handicap hole is long and deceptively tight. The fairway
begins wide off the tee, but narrows considerably about 280-yards
from the tee box. This means long golfers must hit precise shots up
the left side of the fairway for an ideal approach angle to this green.
Remember, "right is wrong" on this hole. There is more room
on the left side than it typically appears from the tee and dense
trees line the right side of this hole. Right is again wrong on the
approach shot due to a creek bed that runs just 20-feet off the right
side of the green. This is often considered one of the best holes
in Oklahoma due to it's fair but difficult design and scenic approach
to the green. |
